A Partner Focused on the Details

Every project begins with understanding the application, specifications and risks that matter to the customer. From there, we coordinate the people, processes and logistics required to move the request forward.

Built From a Need to Do Sourcing Better

WG Biomedical began in 1979 when a medical company needed whole hearts from roasting pigs. That first request grew into decades of experience supporting biomedical customers and abatoirs with specialized tissue sourcing.

1979 — The First Request

WG Provisions was approached to provide whole pig hearts for a medical application. The team became personally involved in securing the supply and meeting the customer’s requirements.

A Repeatable Program Takes Shape

As demand grew, WG expanded collection, preparation and shipment capabilities while helping abattoirs understand customer specifications.

Today — A Broader Biomedical Partner

WG Biomedical now coordinates a wider range of porcine and bovine tissues for medical device, pharmaceutical, research and education programs.
